I'm a dreamer at heart, always brimming with ideas and a hopeless romantic. I love to travel, seek adventures, and immerse myself in new cultures. Whether it's wandering through city streets or hiking to find the perfect sunset, I'm always up for an exploration.
Photography came into my life unexpectedly and swept me off my feet. It was love at first sight.
As an emergency room nurse for over 13 years, I've witnessed the fragility of life. These experiences have taught me to cherish every moment. I often say that photography is my superpower. With just a click, I can freeze a moment in time, making it last forever.
I feel deeply honored to be invited to capture such an intimate moment in a couple’s lives.
Each story is unique and fuels my inspiration, propelling the evolution of my photographic style. I am constantly challenging myself to innovate and embrace new styles, but at the heart of my approach is creating a genuine space of intimacy and trust.
I seek simplicity, authenticity, and the little imperfections to create a visual legacy that is a true reflection of your wedding day.
I graduated as a nurse, but it wasn't until I was nearly 30 that I discovered my true calling - photography.
In 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, the opportunity arose to start my journey in wedding photography. That year, I began photographing my first weddings in partnership with another colleague, in a project called Story Collectors.
Little did I know that wedding photography would become such a passion, almost an obsession.
It was this love for documenting the story of one of the happiest days of two people's lives, for capturing genuine emotions and being able to be part of it all, that led me to go solo and create The Legacy.
Inspiration can strike anywhere, anytime. But when you're curious, even the simplest things become extraordinary. A gentle touch, a lone bird cutting through the evening sky, an elderly person peacefully watching time pass – these are the moments that inspire me.
At the beginning of my journey as a photographer, I would go out and quietly observe from the sidelines. This remains the essence of my work. I allow moments to unfold naturally, capturing their beauty.
I lost my father when I was only a year old. Growing up, I was fascinated by any piece of memory I could find of him. I spent countless hours flipping through old photo albums, trying to learn about this man.
Of all the photos, there was one that stood out, the only picture I have of my father. Blurry and worn by time, it became my sole connection to him. It was like a window into a world I longed to know.
My journey into photography has deep roots in my own story of loss and discovery. I learned that a photograph can be our greatest treasure; it's a time capsule, a way to immortalize the ephemeral.
As a wedding photographer today, I try to offer people something I cherished so much in my childhood: a tangible memory of the moments they've shared with loved ones, to be passed down through generations.
So, when people ask me why I chose this path, I smile and think of that photo. It showed me the power of an image and taught me that sometimes, a single photograph can change everything.
